Tempo - Time

Tempo!
Invadistes o meu templo, alterastes a minha
idade, me envelhecestes.
Envelhecestes-me da mesma forma como
Envelheces tudo que tocas.

Tempo!
Corrompestes os meus sentimentos, me
Trouxestes o esquecimento e esqueci.
Me esqueci dos amores que amei, das
lágrimas que derramei e dos sofrimentos
que vivi.
Errei!

Tempo!
Em tua aventuras trouxestes-me as
rugas, me deixastes às dúvidas,
dúvidas da minha capacidade de decidi
o tempo de parar ou de seguir.

Tempo!
Passas tão rápido pela vida que não
consegues amar ninguém.
Simplesmente não sabes o que é
amar!

Tempo!

Tempo!
Quanto tempo pensas que ainda
permanecerei aqui?

Tempo!
Não entendo o porque que de tu
tempo, de tempo em tempo, fustigar
o meu corpo com enfermidades que
nunca te pedi.

Tempo!
Invadistes a minha consciência, me
encheste de arrependimentos,
arrependimentos estes que nunca
pedi para viver.

Tempo!
Agora, diante da velhice, olho no
retrovisor da vida e só vislumbro o
tempo que perdi, o tempo que não
me preocupei com o passar do
tempo sem nada fazer.

Tempo!
Agora, velho, vivo a solidão, vivo a

Tempo!
O que fizestes comigo que não tenho
mais vigor para viver o que deixei
para viver agora?

Time

Time!
You invaded my temple, you altered
my age, you have made me old.
You aged me the same as you do
age everything you touch.

Time!
You corrupted my feelings, you
brought me oblivion and I forgot.
I forgot the loves that I loved, the
tears that I shed and the suffering
that I lived.
I made a mistake!
and I do mistake again when
I see you pass by and I do not
follow you.

Time!
In your adventures you brought
me wrinkles, you left me
doubting, doubts about my
ability to decide the time to stop
or to move on.

Time!
You go through life so fast that
you don't get to love anyone.
You just don't know what love
is!
Your marks are on my face in
the form of furrows, in my
body in form of pain, on my
parched skin and withered
like the leaves about to fall.

Time!
Under your whims my hair
turned into gray and then it
fell off.
My hair got lost like
everything else got lost when
touched by you.

Time!
How much longer do you
think will i stay here?

Time!
I don't understand why you
time, from time to time,
lash out my body with
infirmities that I never
asked you for.

Time!
You invaded my
conscience and feeled me
of regrets, regrets that I
never asked to live.

Time!
Now, in the face of old
age, I look rearview
mirror of the life and I
only see the time that I
lost, a time I didn't  I
worried about, time
which was doing
nothing.

Time!
Now, old man, I live in
solitude, I live in I miss the
friends you took from me
and the lack of vigor for to
do the things that I left
behind in my youth for to
do noow.

Time!
What have you done to me
that I don't have more vigor
to live  what I left to live
now?

O “daqui a pouco”.
