Os montes do meu devanear - The mountains of my daydreaming

Olho o horizonte e vem-me os montes distantes,
Montes do meu devanear.

Muda.
A é! E a lua?

Caminho.
Coisas da infância.
Tola infância.

Mountains of my daydreaming

From my childhood already lost in time I contemplate
The lamentations.
I look at the horizon and I see the distant hills,
Place where in my imagination the sun sets, hid.
Place where I fled to when I was afraid of to be
Punished.
A place where the sky leaned down to embrace the sea,
Mountains of my daydreaming.

Unglory struggle to want to conquer the hills when
I still cry if I trip over the small stones of my path.
As adult, I understand life less once I learned
That the sun, as a brave, never hides itself in front of
Hardship.
I found out that the moon is a night´s woman, a bitch
Girl.
Hmm! I wished her so bad in my arms!

Today I challenge everything that I thought that
I have learned from the suffering.
I discovered that the mysterious mounts of my
Childhood holds no mystery.
They are stones, pure reality, pain, thing that will
Never changes.
That is it! How about the moon?
The moon never came out to meet me, she
Never slept in my arms, but still
I see her as a bitch.

Adult, certain that I will never surpass the hills that
Abused my imagination as a child, today I don´t
Allow my thoughts be absorbed by its niggas.
I do not see as a defeat the impossibility of to
Conquer the hills, to me defeat is to cry when
I tripping over the small stones that lays down on my
Path.
Childhood stuff.
Foolish childhood.

O “daqui a pouco”.
