vento.
do alto lhe sorriem.
Sou o farol!
Sou a luz perdida no horizonte, sou o solitário das
madrugadas.
Sou o farol!
mares no inverno.
Sou o farol!
Fustigado pelo tempo, entreguei-me à solidão e,

The lighthouse
In the solitude of the night, like an old shepherd,
the lighthouse shepherds the sea.
Its gaze, dissolving into the firmament, offers an
embrace, embraces the abandoned, the ignored
who live in the immensity of the sea.
Watching the lighthouse, in its eternal
shepherding, induces any living being to travel
in their imagination.
Sheltered by the cold of the Chuí dawns, the
lighthouse hums, silently, the songs it learns
listening to the wind.
A cold breath on its face, a caress, a kiss as a
comfort for its solitude.
The silence of the dawn embraces it, the dew
perfumes it, and like a good shepherd, the old,
solitary lighthouse continues shepherding the
sea.
The lighthouse of the extremes (Chuí-Chuy),
like a good shepherd that it is, shepherds the
sea without complaining about its solitude.
His gaze shines in the middle of the night,
yearning to be noticed by passersby who never
notice his moments of distress.
Embraced by the night, sheltered by the
silence of the darkness, the old lighthouse
shepherds the stars that smile at him from
above.
Things of a lover, of a guardian who lives in
solitude.
I am the lighthouse!
I am the light lost on the horizon,
I am the solitary one of the dawns.
I am the lighthouse!
I am the song that sings the song of the winds,
I am the icy body sheltered by the cold that
travels the seas in winter.
I am the lighthouse, I am the first and last sign of
land that adventurers come to,
I am the smile of certainty of safe harbor for those
who live on the seas.
I am the lighthouse!
Whipped by time, I surrendered to solitude and,
when punished by storms, I sing its songs.
I attentively observe the dancing waters,
longing to throw myself into their arms.
Good shepherd, I shepherd the sea as shepherds
I shepherd their sheep.
Firmly, I endure the coldness of solitude without
complaint and continue my shepherding.
I am the lighthouse, I am the last sign of land,
I am land in sight,
the joy of those who live at sea.
