Cais - You fall!

Cais!
sopra as tuas feridas, pronuncias palavras

Cais!

Cais!
perfumar.
Cais!
Cais e em teu tombo arrasta consigo a
felicidade que, displicente, passeava ao teu
redor.
Cais!

You fall!

You fall!
You fall, and as you tumble, you utter names that
you forget as soon as you get back on your feet.
Standing, leaning against the wall of wind that
blows across your wounds, you utter words
that wound sanity.
It is the age of death that draws near to you and
draws you out to dance, and you dance.
You dance until you fall, never to rise again.

You fall!
Like the silent rain of dawn, you fall.
You fall and fall asleep sprawled on the ground until
it absorbs your body.
You fall!
You fall as heavily as the storms that destroy
daydreams and bury dreams.
You fall like the sorrows that make the eyes
shed tears they have none left to
cry, and scare away the smiles from the lips.
You fall like the promises lost
in time without ever being fulfilled.

You fall!
You fall, and in your fall, longing embraces you—
longing that suffers from loneliness as it waves a farewell.
You fall like the dew at the end of spring
that steals the scent of the flowers it was meant
to perfume.
You fall!
You fall, and in your fall you drag along with you the
happiness that, indifferent, used to wander around you.
You fall!
You fall and weep, silently, ashamed
that I might hear your sobs calling my name.
You fall into the silence that consumes you until you
can no longer stand, and you fall.

Me dê! - Give it to me!

Me dê!
Não, melhor que não!
Não me dê não!
Deixe para lá, não faço questão!
Me pense!
Me pense e depois me despense e, corra
para casa, e chore.
Que chores, agora, as lágrimas que
guardas para chorar em outra  ocasião.
Me dê!

Me dê!
Me dê o teu coração!
Tomes a minha mão e caminhemos em
silêncio.
Não!
Não fales!
Dê ao vento soprar, em meus ouvidos,
os segredos que tens para me contar.
Não falemos de amor agora!
A hora certa de falarmos irá chegar.

Me dê!
Entrega-me o teu coração e
caminhemos juntos o que nos for dado
a caminhar.
Somos dois destinos caminhando uma
mesma estrada.
Que desnudemos os mistérios
escondidos no que há de vir.
Vivamos as nossas extórias enquanto
escrevemos a nossa história.
Então, me dê!
Não, melhor que não!
Só permita que acontecer.

Give it to me!

Give it to me!
No, better not!
Don’t give it to me!
Never mind, I don’t really care!
Think of me!
Think of me, then cast me aside, and run
home and cry.
Cry now the tears you
save to cry on another  occasion.
Give it to me!
No, better not!
Don’t give it to me because if you do, I might
forget you and, surely, I’ll break
your heart.

Give it to me!
No!
Don’t give me your smile before it
smiles the smile that other smiles
long for it to smile.
Give me your heart!
Take my hand and let’s walk in
silence.
No!
Don’t speak!
Let the wind whisper in my ears
the secrets you have to tell me.
Let’s not speak of love now!
The right time to speak will come.

Give it to me!
Give me your heart and
let’s walk together the path
we are meant to walk.
We are two destinies walking the
same road.
Let us unveil the mysteries
hidden in what is to come.
Let us live our stories as we
write our history.
So, give yourself to me!
No, better not!
Just let it happen.

As noites de Brasília - Nights in Brasília

nobre vinho, é o abraço apaixonado, a alegria do
encontro sonhado e a fuga da solidão.
Amo as noites de Brasília!

Nights in Brasília

Walking through Brasília at night, I suddenly come
across a mirror on the ground.
Once the moment of surprise has passed, I realize
that such beauty comes from the moon.
Yes, it is the moon lying upon one of the many
water mirrors that adorn the palaces of our
capital.
It is the welcoming smile to the nights of our capital,
it is the most beautiful night, a night like no other.

The moon is there, right before my eyes, as if
inviting me to lie down with her.
Then, the wind that always visits our city in
the month of May whistles a beautiful melody, and
on a whim, I stretch out my arms and help the moon
rise, and then we dance we dance the twilight
of Brasília.
We dance the nights of Brasília.
The night of Brasília, an enchanting woman of many
passions.

Experiencing the nights of Brasília is a unique
experience; it’s a delightful story to tell.
It’s about sharing life with the people we
love to be with.
I love being kissed by the fragrant dew of Brasília’s
nights; I live this city even when I’m
somewhere else.
There’s no sky in the world more beautiful than the
sky of my hometown; there are no nights more
star-studded than the nights that drape Lake Paranoá.

When night falls, the sky over Brasília dons
the most beautiful attire one can imagine.
The moon adorns itself in silver and embellishes its
lovely black hair with sparkling stars, and then
smiles the most beautiful diamond-like smile.
The nights in Brasília are like a glass of the
finest wine; they are a passionate embrace, the joy of a
dream come true, and an escape from loneliness.
I love the nights in Brasília!

A solidão - The loneliness

Imprudente, deixas a porta do teu coração
Entreaberta e, no meio da noite, longe do calor
do dia a dia,  a solidão volta a gritando para
certificar-se de que podes ouvi-la.

The loneliness

The loneliness screams in the middle of the night and
wakes the insomniacs.
Loneliness wakes everyone who, like her,
suffers from loneliness.
Loneliness wakes the night owls to tell them
her endless stories.
In her eagerness to escape her loneliness, loneliness
clings to her fear of being alone, and screams.
She screams!
Loneliness screams out some random name; it
screams the name it imagines will be the one to hear it,
a name that won’t ignore its loneliness.

In the middle of the night, while silence goes out
to make its rounds, loneliness makes sure
that you can hear it.
Certain that you hear her, loneliness speaks to you,
without stopping, of the torments that torment her.
In those moments, loneliness takes you by the arms,
and takes you for a walk through time, to a time
when you were happy.
Loneliness screams in the middle of the night and
wakes the insomniacs.
People who, still in love, were
abandoned in their passions.

In the early hours of dawn, when the
sun knocks on its door, loneliness a woman of the
night flees.
Loneliness flees; she runs and blends into the crowd
that fills your daily life.
Loneliness hides in pasts that
you’ve forgotten you ever lived, and that you think
will never return.
Carelessness what recklessness!
Recklessly, you leave the door to your heart
ajar, and in the middle of the night, far from the warmth
of everyday life, loneliness returns, screaming, to
make sure you can hear her.

O "se" . - The “if” .

horizonte.

The “if” .

If!
A conditional particle, where there is more uncertainty
than certainty.
If!
“If” is uncertainty taking the place of the other
nuances of “no.”
It’s the lack of courage to say, “no.”

If!
A word behind which people hide
whenever it’s embarrassing for them to say “no,”
whenever they don’t feel comfortable making
a decision.
“If”—a place where people take refuge
when they glimpse a storm on the
horizon.

“If” is where everyone hides whenever
faced with demands they have no way
to fulfill.
If!
“If” is the crossroads between decision and indecision;
it is the junction of situations.
“If” is, and always will be, the lack of courage to
say no.

Surviving the “if” is an art, but living without
resorting to it is a thankless struggle.
I don’t deny that, on several occasions, I’ve hidden
behind the “if,” but time has taught me that the “if”
is not a good hiding place.
“If” is a never-ending soap opera, while
“no,” though blunt, is more sincere,
more honest.

I keep “if” as a master key that I only
use in emergencies, and even then
I do so with many reservations.
Using “if” requires great caution.
If!
“If” is where anguish, uncertainty, and
distrust dwell.
“If” carries with it the expectations of those
who, not infrequently, are desperate.

Me fale do amor - Tell me about the love.

Me fale do amor!
Me fale da magia contida nas palavras meigas
trocadas entre os amantes.
Me fale!
apaixonados.
Me fale!
Me fale, também, da delicia escondida na
evidencia da paixão.

Me fale!
Me fale dos mistérios da paixão!
Me diga como sentimento tão sano perde sua
sanidade diante da razão.
Me diga o que se passa antes de a magia da
paixão virar desilusão.
Mas me fale!
loucura.
Então me fale!
Me fale!

Vai! Me conte tudo!
Me fale do lirismo implicito nas declarações,
mudas, de amor.
Me como entender a doçura cúmplice
existente entre os amantes.
Me fale!
Me ajude entender o que induz o amante a
ignorar o perigo do ódio que mora no reverso
da paixão.
Me fale!

Tell me about the love.

Tell me about love!
Tell me about the magic contained in the sweet words
exchanged between lovers.
Tell me!
Tell me about the sweetness of knowing smiles, and
the complicity between two hearts
in love.
Tell me!
Tell me what you know about the silent exchange
of glances between lovers.
Tell me, too, about the delight hidden in the
evidence of passion.

Tell me!
Tell me about the mysteries of passion!
Tell me how such a healthy feeling loses its
sanity in the face of reason.
Tell me what happens before the magic of
passion turns into disappointment.
But tell me!
Tell me how to recognize pre-passion and
how it affects the heart until it drives it to
madness.
So tell me!
Tell me!

Go on! Tell me everything!
Tell me about the lyricism implicit in silent declarations of love.
Tell me how to understand the complicit sweetness
that exists between lovers.
Tell me!
Tell me the secret of living a passion without
thinking about the pain that a possible goodbye will bring.
Help me understand what induces the lover to
ignore the danger of hatred that dwells on the reverse side
of passion.
Tell me!
Let there be no doubts, about doubts, in my
heart.
