Ilusão, ilusão, ilusão - Illusion, illusion, illusion.

Entender Deus,

Explicar os mistérios que se dão

Sob o sol e compreender a paixão

E definir o que é ser feliz.

Ilusão, ilusão, ilusão.

Não consegues não.

Deus!

Imaginar que conheces Deus

Sendo tu tão pequeno e sendo

Deus o universo,

Ilusão, ilusão, ilusão.

Deus vai além do teu coração.

Compreender a paixão!

Ilusão, ilusão, ilusão.

Pensar que conheces a paixão

Só por que dormistes algumas

Vezes com ela é ilusão.

Ilusão, ilusão, ilusão.

A paixão é indecifrável.

Felicidade!

Ilusão, Ilusão, ilusão.

Ingenuidade tua, imaginar ser

Capaz de definir a felicidade.

Felicidade!

Corpo, sorrisos, lágrimas,

Abraços de partida e de

Chegadas, paz, silêncio, tudo

Que assusta o teu coração.

Illusion, illusion, illusion.

To understand God,

to explain the mysteries that occur

under the sun and to comprehend the passion

and to define what it is to be happy.

Illusion, illusion, illusion.

You can't.

God!

To imagine tha you know God

being so small and God being the universe,

illusion, illusion, illusion.

God goes beyond your heart.

To understandc the passion!

Illusion, illusion, illusion.

To thinking tha you know passion

just because you slept a few times with it is

an illusion.

Illusion, illusion, illusion.

Passion is undecipherable.

Happiness!

Illusion, illusion, illusion.

Your naiveté, imagining you are capable of

to define happiness.

Happiness!

Body, smiles, tears,

embraces of departure and arrival, peace,

silence, everything that frightens your heart.

Falemos de amor - Let's talk about love

Falemos de amor!

Falemos! Falemos dos

Sorrisos que passeiam

Em teus lábios enquanto

Estes cantam, em versos,

A nossa paixão.

Falemos de amor!

Falemos! Falemos dos

Sonhos que sonhamos

Acordados. Falemos do

Gozo de sonhar em

Teus braços.

Falemos! Falemos dos

Momentos furtivos,

Nos quais rapto o teu

Olhar quando ele

Passeia em devaneios

Em busca dos meus

Devaneios.

Falemos do amor!

Falemos da magia que

Envolve os momentos

Em que ficamos juntos.

Falemos! Falemos sobre

Os nossos corações que

Entregam-se a valsa

Da paixão e dançam

Felizes os momentos

Que passamos juntos.

Falemos. Falemos sobre

As noites que adormeces

Em meus braços

Enquanto o perfume da

Brisa veste os nossos

Corpos, falemos!

Let's talk about love

Let's talk about love!

Let's talk! Let's talk about the

Smiles which wander

In your lips while your lips

Sing, in verses,

Our passion.

Let's talk about love!

Let's talk! Let's talk about the

Dreams that we dream

Awaked. Let's talk about the

Wonderful feeling of to

Dream in your arms.

Let's talk! Let's talk about the

Furtive moments which I

Kidnap your look when it

Walks in daydreams

In search of my

Daydreams.

Let's talk about love!

Let's talk about the magic

Which involves the moments,

That we are together.

Let's talk! Let's talk about

Our Hearts that

Surrender to the waltz of the

Passion and dance,

Happy, the moments that

We spend together.

Let´s talk. Let's talk about

The nights in which you fall

Asleep in my arms

While the scent of the

Brisa wear our

Bodies, let's talk about love!

Pensamentos toscos - Crude thoughts

Pensamentos toscos cheios

De ideias pervertidas, vestidas

De galhofas, risada vadia como

As moças que vivem nas

Esquinas.

As moças passam, olham e

Sorriem do desatino dos

Moradores do boteco que bebem

Qualquer treco que lhes põem ao

Alcance dos seus lábios, como se

Fora um beijo. Sem graça as moças

Vão, seguem seus descaminhos

De perdição, maldição que

Herdaram do destino daqueles

Que  muito bebem.

Pensamento tosco que, fugindo

Dos outros toma um treco para

Esquecer e cai esquecido.

Esquecido ele rola na poeira do

Chão que o acolhe sem conforto

E escancara tua boca como se o

Quisera engolir. Encostado na

Cerca que separa a vida do abismo,
Sua cabeça gira, seu estomago
Reclama e regurgita enquanto seu
Fígado, inchado, agita-se pensando
Estar vendo o fim. A cirrose,
Como as moças da esquina,
Rouba-lhe o pouco de vida que lhe
Resta e o empurra para o fim.

Pensamentos toscos, tolices,
Besteiras, asneiras que abraçam a
Embriagues que espera nas mesas
Do boteco os incautos. Incautos,
Sujeitos honestos, devotos dos
Santos, sonhadores que acreditam
Que o sofrimento pode acabar.

Crude thoughts

Crude thoughts full of perverse ideas,

dressed in jokes, wild laughter like

the girls who live on the street

corners.

The girls pass by, look and smile at

the folly of the inhabitants of the bar

who drink anything they put within

reach of their lips, as if it were a kiss.

Gracelessly the girls go, follow their

wrong paths of perdition, a curse that

they inherited from the destiny of

those who drink too much.

A crude thought that, fleeing from

others takes a drink to forget and

falls forgotten.

Forgotten it rolls in the dust of the

ground that welcomes it without

comfort and opens your mouth as

if it wanted to swallow it.

Leaning against the fence that

separates life from the abyss, his

head spins, his stomach complains

and regurgitates while his liver,

swollen, writhes, thinking he is

seeing the end.

Cirrhosis, like the girls on the corner,

steals the little life he has left and

pushes him towards the end.

Crude thoughts, foolishness,

nonsense, drivel that embrace the

drunkenness that awaits the unwary

at the tables of the bar.

Unwary, honest fellows, devotees

of the saints, dreamers who believe

that suffering can end.

Odete - Odete

Minha Odete!

Minha amada Odete!

O amor que vibra em meu coração está ansioso

Por te amar, e teme ser esquecido por ti no vazio

Que é o tempo de espera.

Odete!

Quando estendeste-me a tua mão, tomei-a

Odete

My Odete!
Why do you think my love for you is rash?
You ask me to wait for tomorrow—a day
That lies so far from the present that it might not

Even find me here when it arrives.

I love you, and I want to love you now!
I want you today because I don’t need tomorrow
To tell me how much I love you, only then
To begin living our love.

In the barrenness of loneliness and sadness, you,

Odete, bloomed like a beautiful and delicate

Flower in my life.
You’ve given me endless reasons to believe that

I’ll be happy by your side.

Please!
Don’t ask me to wait for the arrival of a day
That hasn’t even dawned on the horizon to
Tell you of my love for you.

My beloved Odete!
The love that beats in my heart is eager
To love you, and fears being forgotten by you in

The emptiness that is the time of waiting.

Odete!
When you reached out your hand to me, I took

It, believing that you would walk by my side

Without fearing the doubts that the days lost in
Time conceal.

Come!
Let’s walk! Let’s discover, together, the
Mysteries that life hides at its very core.
We’ll unravel the mysteries we believe to be

Happiness the happiness that time has kept in

Store to give us.
