- Sou eu!
Me viro e vejo a porta furiosa correndo atrás de
caminho e a observo bater violentamente.
gemido do portal.
A porta bate e tudo treme!
noite até me acordar.
esquecido repousando no portal.

The door slams
The door slams shut behind me, and a voice shouts:
“It’s me!”
I turn around and see the door furiously chasing after
me, and then, as agile as a cat, I leap out of
the way and watch it slam violently.
The door, furious, slams without caring about the
groan of the doorway.
It slams as hard as my heart beats, after
a startle like the one caused by my fear upon
hearing a groan whose source I couldn’t make out.
The door slams and everything shakes!
Everything around it trembles before its
icy gaze, which engulfs the silence of the early morning and
turns it into a nightmare.
A nightmare that moans in the darkness of the
night until it wakes me up.
The door slams behind me and blames the wind
that didn’t even blow it open; it blames the rain and the
excuses given to justify a situation of
unnecessary violence that it provoked.
The door slams; it slams with the intention of
crushing my fingers, which it believes I have
forgotten, resting on the doorframe.
Never mind!
The door slams and hurts itself in the face of
the doorframe’s indifference to its violence.
