Em teu olhar - In your eyes

Vejo Deus no céu lindamente azul,

Vejo Deus no acariciar da brisa em

meu rosto, no ipê amarelo repleto

de flores a me acenar.

Eu vejo Deus.

Eu vejo Deus no brilho do sol, na

exuberante beleza do amanhecer e

no cantar dos pássaros.

Eu vejo Deus.

Vejo Deus!

Vejo Deus no contraste do verde

das árvores com azul do céu. 

E, também, vejo Deus no brilho

dos teus olhos diante do meu 

olhar.

Eu vejo Deus!

Vejo Deus no teu sorriso sorrindo

para o meu sorriso.

Sim!

Sem dúvida, vejo Deus no teu jeito

de me amar.

Então vejo Deus! Vejo Deus na 

tristeza da saudade, no vazio da 

distância e no frio da solidão.

Eu vejo Deus nas lágrimas de 

despedidas e na dor das aflições.

Eu vejo Deus!

Vejo Deus no silêncio da 

madrugada, nos mistérios que

habita no escuro das noites e nas

flores. 

Eu vejo Deus em todos os

lugares, inclusive em teu olhar.

In your eyes

I see God in the beautifully blue sky,
I see God in the caress of the breeze in
my face, in the yellow ipe tree full
of flowers waving at me.
I see God.

I see God in the sunshine, in the
exuberant beauty of the dawn and
in the singing of birds.
I see God.

I see God!
I see God in the contrast of green
trees with the blue of the sky.
And, I see God in the glow
of your eyes looking at mine.

I see God!
I see God in your smile, smiling
to my smile.
Yes!
Without a doubt, I see God in your way
to love me.

Then I see God! I see God in the
sadness of the long, I see God in the
emptiness of the distance and in the
cold of the solitude.
I, also, see God in the tears of the
goodbyes and in the pain of the
afflictions.

I see God!
I see God in the silence of
dawn, in the mysteries that
lives in the dark of the nights and
in flowers.
I see God in everywhere, including
in your eyes.
