Hoje cedo, ao sair à rua, cruzei com
a decência, meu Deus quão
combalida ela estava.
Mulher discreta, de poucas palavras
ele me olhou, e depois de me
comprimentar pôs-se a chorar.
Não trocamos palavras mas era
gritante a tristeza da decência e tudo
nela era decepção.
Não é difícil entender a dor da
decência, ela foi abandonada por
seus primos, irmãs e irmãos.
Hoje a noite, certamente, a decência
não dormirá, a dor que a sufoca é
terrível de suportar.

The decency
Earlier today, as I went out into the street,
I passed by the Decency, o my God,
how frail she was.
As a discreet woman, of few words,
she looked at me, and after greeting me,
she began to cry.
We didn't exchange a words,
but the sadness of the Decency was
glaring, and everything on her was
the disappointment.
It's not difficult to understand the pain of
the Decency, she was abandoned by her
cousins, sisters, and brothers.
Tonight, certainly, Decency will not sleep;
the pain that suffocates her is terrible to
bear.
