Aceitando Jesus - Accepting Jesus

Knock, knock, knock!
estou aqui decidido a morar eu teu coração."

observando a tua angústia te pergunta:
" E então, vais me receber?"

agora, mentias.
conhecerem a essência deste.
Desconhecendo o verdadeiro sentido do amor tu nunca

Accepting Jesus

Knock, knock, knock!
Suddenly there's a knock at the door of your heart, and then
it opens heavily.
Surprised, you find yourself face to face with a black man
and ask:
"Who are you?"
"What are you doing here?"
To which the black man, with a beautiful smile on his lips,
tenderly replies:
"I am Jesus Christ, I am the one you call upon in your
prayers, and I am here determined to dwell in your heart."
Astonished by this tremendous revelation, your heart
trembles and, frightened, you almost slam the door in the
face of the man who, serene, observes you with sweetness.
Still, very distressed, you say:
"But how can this be, you're black?"
"You can't be Jesus!"

Jesus Christ then, with great candor, answers you:
"Son, I am not black!
It is your eyes that see me as black when you worry about the
color of my skin.
You could see me as any other color if you so wished.
My skin has the color you prefer to see in me, in reality I am
the color of love."
Jesus, still standing before the door of your heart, observing
your anguish, asks you:
"And so, will you receive me?"
Still trembling, full of doubts, without understanding what
you have before you, you answer:
"I cannot accept a black Jesus, a Jesus whom I do not know
and with whom I have not lived.
The churches and the books have always shown me a white
Jesus Christ with blue eyes, and now I am faced with the
Lord, black, knocking at the door of my heart saying he is
Jesus Christ.
No!
I cannot welcome the Lord into my heart, I was not taught to
love a black Jesus Christ."

Exuding love and mercy, Jesus Christ looks into your eyes and
tenderly answers you:
"When you were baptized in your church, you said that you
accepted me as your savior.
You swore that you would give me your heart, but as you see
now, you lied.
You lied because you gave your heart to men, not to me.
You gave your heart to men who discriminate, to men who
speak of my love without, however, knowing its essence.
Not knowing the true meaning of love, you will never allow me
to enter your heart.
As you see, because of the dark color of my skin, the same skin
that many of your brothers wear, you do not recognize me as
your savior.
I am the Lord Jesus Christ and I love you, even if you do not
receive me when I knock on the door of your heart, I love you."
