O meu
corpo dói.
Me dói tudo, dói desde os meus pés
até a
minha cabeça.
Dói.
A dor me
dói, ela me tortura, espreme o
meu corpo sem piedade, me mói como
que querendo extirpar o meu espírito.
A dor me bate, ela morde a minha
língua, arranca os meus dentes para que
não ranjam.
A dor, doendo em sua mais profunda
intensidade, me faz pensar em meus
pecados e então peco com mais
veemência proferindo toda sorte de ,
palavras
profanas.
A dor
chicoteia o meu corpo como se eu
fora seu
escravo.
Os meus gemidos, soando como uma
canção fúnebre levam a dor ao orgasmo
pleno.
A dor espreme o meu
corpo enquanto,
em oração, imploro por clemência e
diante de tanto sofrimento.
A minha fé, diante de tanto sofrimento,
ameaça me abandonar, então o pânico
sacode o meu espírito.
Oro, mas quanto mais
oro, mais a dor
açoita o meu corpo.
No meio da noite a dor, enfurecida, grita,
espanta o meu sono, não me deixar
dormir.
Oro,
peço ajuda mas a ajuda, tomada de
horror, não vem me socorrer.
O meu coração, desamparado, quase
desvalido de fé vacila entre ficar
comigo ou abandonar as suas batidas.
A dor
me bate!
A dor me bate e rebate para que eu perca
a consciência e, inconsciente, desaprenda
a orar.
Enfraquecido na fé, sou motivo
de
chacota da dor que dói.
A dor dói sem misericórdia
e sorrir, a dor
sorri da minha fraqueza.
A dor,
maliciosa, sorrindo crava os seus
dentes
em minha carne e a faz sangrar.
Eu sangro, eu choro.
O meu corpo geme, sangra e profere
palavras desconexas, palavras que em
condições minimamente normais, não
proferiria.
A dor me dói!
A dor me dói
da cabeça aos pés, a dor
dói.
A dor me tortura, mas num
último suspiro,
antes de tudo que creio me abandonar,
ouço o nome que sei escrito
na cruz
chamar o meu nome.
Ouço a sua voz
me pedir para me guardar
em minha fé.
De repente, numa mordida inclemente, a
dor
dilacera o meu corpo e por pouco
não alcança o meu espírito.
Agonizando caio de joelho
em oração e o
meu coração canta a uma triste canção ao
pé da Cruz.
O meu corpo
inteiro dois, o meu corpo
dói fustigado pela tristeza de sentir
tanta
dor.

My body aches.
My body aches.
Everything hurts, from my feet to my head.
It hurts.
The pain hurts me, it tortures me, squeezes
my body mercilessly, grinds me as if
wanting to extirpate my spirit.
The pain beats me, it bites my tongue, pulls
out my teeth so they don't grind.
The pain, hurting in its deepest intensity,
makes me think of my sins and then
I sin with more vehemence, uttering all sorts
of profane words.
The pain whips my body as if I were its slave.
My groans, sounding like a funeral song,
bring the pain to full orgasm.
The pain squeezes my body while, in prayer,
I beg for mercy and in the face of so much
suffering.
My faith, faced with so much suffering,
threatens to abandon me, then panic shakes
my spirit.
I pray, but the more I pray, the more the pain
whips my body.
In the middle of the night, the furious pain
screams, frightens my sleep, not letting me
to sleep.
I pray, I ask for help, but the help, filled with
horror, does not come to my aid.
My heart, helpless, almost devoid of faith,
wavers between staying with me or
abandoning its beating.
The pain strikes me!
The pain strikes and rebounds so that I lose
consciousness and, unconsciously, unlearn
how to pray.
Weakened in faith, I am a laughingstock of
the pain that hurts.
The pain hurts without mercy and smiles,
the pain smiles at my weakness.
Pain, malicious, smiling, sinks its teeth into
my flesh and makes it bleed.
I bleed, I cry.
My body groans, bleeds, and utters
disconnected words, words that under
minimally normal conditions, it would not
utter.
The pain hurts me!
The pain hurts me from head to toe, the pain
hurts.
The pain tortures me, but in a last breath, before
everything I believe abandons me, I hear the
name I know written on the cross calling my
name.
I hear its voice asking me to keep myself in my
faith.
Suddenly, in a relentless bite, the pain tears my
body apart and almost reaches my spirit.
Agonizing, I fall to my knees in prayer and my
heart sings a sad song at the foot of the Cross.
My whole body, my body aches, tormented by the
sadness of feeling so much pain.
