O pedinte -The beggar

cobrirá as vergonhas.
A pele do desafortunado escapa pelas frestas do
tecido roto, e se deixa à mostra.
Despido, o corpo do infeliz fica a exposto, e

pobreza extrema lhe impõe, o pedinte segue
os olhares passantes como se fora sombra
desses.
condenado a viver.

passantes.
Rebelde, a nudez do pedinte rasga as roupa
castiga, ele protesta.
O pedinte protesta, ele expõe sua miséria,
obra da nossa sociedade que nunca ensinou,
e nem nunca foi ensinada a compartilhar.

The beggar

The old rags that rest on the body of the beggar,
only with great good will, will cover his shame.
The rags try and try, but the rebellious skin of
the beggar refutes them and runs away from
them.
The unfortunate man's skin escapes through the
cracks in the broken tissue, and leaves itself
exposed.
Undressed, the unfortunate man's body is
exposed, and exposed, shows what society
refuses to see.
The living people look with cynical criticism at
poverty that they believe is not theirs, ignoring
the fact that this poverty greets every day while
pretending are meeting her for the first time.

Dragging under the weight of the suffering that
extreme poverty imposes on him, the beggar
continues the passing glances as if it were a
shadow of these.
Changes, the presence of the beggar invades
the deaf ears of the living who ignore it.
The poverty of the beggar screams a truth that
no one likes to hear it and, to the torment of
passersby, the beggar's indigence becomes
shows completely nude, in environments
where they only accept those who are well
dressed.
Bent under the weight of the sadness that
misfortunes of life impose on him, the naked
body of beggar makes fun of the misfortune he
is condemned to live.

Under the pretext of protecting the skin of
beggar in the cold, the old clothes that dress
him in fact they try to hide their presence so
that it does not bother the eyes of passersby.
Rebel, the beggar's nakedness tears his clothes
that hides it and shows itself as it is, as she
understands that she needs to be seen.
This is your mute protest, it is the protest of
who has no space to protest.
So, there, in the middle of where it shouldn't be
standing, the beggar's bent body dragging
under the weight of the injustice that
punishes, he protests.
The beggar protests, he exposes his misery,
work of our society that never taught, nor was
she ever taught to share.
