Protesto!
Eu protesto contra o descrédito dos que não
acreditam na possibilidade de a chuva que
choveu ontem, voltar a chover no decorrer
do dia de hoje também.
Protesto!
desenfreada
leva à loucura, e protesto.
Protesto contra o dito popular que diz
serem o amor e o ódio faces opostas da
mesma moeda.
Eu protesto!
Eu protesto!
Protesto contra o entendimento de que
não há mentira que sobreviva sob a luz
do sol.
Eu protesto!
Desdenho das bondades grandiosas se
orquestradas por alguém do mal.
Eu protesto!
Protesto contra a mão que repousa sobre
o meu ombro e, também protesto, contra
o desgosto que causo ao me abrigar em
verdades não expressas por mim.
Eu protesto!
Protesto!
Eu protesto contra
o que, por medo, não
me dizes, mas
que deixas expresso em
teu olhar, quando
me olhas.
Protestos!
Protesto contra os pensamentos
que, se
pudesses expressar, os jogaria
em minha
face.
Protesto!
Protesto contra as
formas inúteis de existir
e protesto.
Protesto, também, contra as expressões que
escondem a sua verdadeira motivação.

My Protest
I protest against the skepticism of those who do not
believe it is possible for the rain that
fell yesterday to fall again
today as well.
I protest!
I protest against the belief that
shooting stars, when falling from the sky,
are fleeing to hide on
earth—I protest!
I protest!
I protest against all kinds of beliefs
that claim life has an end.
I protest!
I protest against the belief that unbridled passion
leads to madness, and I protest.
I protest against the popular saying that
love and hate are opposite sides of the
same coin.
I protest!
I protest!
I protest against the notion that
no lie can survive in the light
of the sun.
I protest!
I scorn great acts of kindness if
orchestrated by someone evil.
I protest!
I protest against the hand that rests on
my shoulder, and I also protest against
the heartache I cause by taking refuge in
truths I have not expressed myself.
I protest!
I protest!
I protest against what, out of fear, you do not
tell me, but which you leave expressed in
your gaze when you look at me.
I protest!
I protest against the thoughts that, if
you could express them, you would throw in my
face.
I protest!
I protest against the futile ways of existing
and I protest.
I also protest against the expressions that
hide their true motivation.
I protest against what, out of fear, you do not
tell me, but which you leave expressed in
your gaze when you look at me.
I protest!
I protest against the thoughts that, if
you could express them, you would throw in my
face.
I protest!
I protest against the futile ways of existing
and I protest.
I also protest against the expressions that
hide their true motivation.
