Ventania - Gale

reprimida.

Enfim a luz.
dificuldades.

Gale

That's all!
It's almost nothing compared to the breath that,
pretentiously, blows the world thinking it's a
gale.
An anecdote!
A story that, if it didn't reflect absurd thoughts,
would be nothing more than a tale told without
an ending.

It's a bare foot, shod in a shoe without a sole.
It's a shoe that hurts when it steps on sharp
stones.
Stones, stones that were thrown there as if to
hurt, to humiliate.
Yes!
In short, it's a bare foot, a foot on the ground,
an innocent foot to be hurt.

Forgiveness!
Forgiveness, if spat out by angry lips loses its
warmth.
It loses its warmth and the ears that hear it,
do not listen to it, and if they listen, they hate
it.
Lips that close mouths in moments of fury,
if uncontrolled, hurt, wound, and then cannot
smile.

The open wound, if silenced, bleeds like tears
that run down innocent faces.
A graceless smile is nothing compared to an
out-of-place joke, and a restrained embrace
hurts more than a repressed tear.

Finally, the light. It's like the light that shines
intensely on eyes that refuse not to see amidst
the darkness.
A hand!
The hand that pushes aside the problems that
insist on not clearing the path of life is a hand
that walks, a hand that only postpones the
difficulties.

The end is almost nothing compared to the breath
of the breeze that, pretentiously, thinks it is a gale,
perhaps suggesting it is a storm.
The end is a judgment, a condemnation,
a sentence, tears, a solution.
